Allowing Bond to be killed-off sets up terrible >implications for the character going forward. Also, the entire Craig era reboot was just a bad idea and handled poorly. It isn't more obvious then when Felix dies and Bond acts like they're best friends who have been through all this bullshit together but it's never shown through Craig's entire run. They just lean on the rest of the Bond films to make their bullshit plausible. It was insulting.
There has never been a bad Bond film and NTTD is no exception. I didn't hate it. But it's flawed and Im not sure if they can just carry on with another Bond film in the same way ever again. They're going to reboot the entire thing again and reduce Bond to just another franchise. There's nothing special about it anymore. Killing him made sure of that.
Any more and they would have ruined her character and you know it.
It got caught up in culture war shit that is inevitable for big franchises because movie news sites rely substantially on farming clicks to make money.
