Same.
Lol I'm moving there next Tuesday. Found a good IT position in Amsta. I grew up near that city anyways so I know the place. You guys should at least visit once, it's nice.
im gonna visit amsterdam in two weeks it seems great
>good IT position
What position? What are you going to do?
In-house IT support L2 for a big, big company. Lots of opportunities to get into more specialist roles too.
Looks like Boston.
youtu.be
Holland seems crowded
I have no idea what that means but sounds serious. I'm thinking about becoming a web coding monkey in my cunt but I'm not sure about my abilities
The self-taught way is hard. IT support means: it no work -> call IT support and we fix it. L2 means level 2 support. L1 is doing mind numbingly boring shit like reboots and reinstall software and check params of whatever's not working. L2 you get into the more complicated stuff that L1 couldn't fix. L3 is usually developer level so only the people that work on a software / product can fix.
The Dutch basically founded the east coast so that makes sense
Oh okay, makes sense now. Good luck, I hope everything will be smooth in a new job and city
its not, crowded doesnt mean high population density but lack of good planning. In fact netherlands is less crowded than mongolia.
Thanks russofren. The company is paying for basically everything. Flights + moving company + 6 weeks accommodation + 6k cash bonus and other benefits. I can't wait!
Holy shit, they're very generous lol
Are you a very good specialist with lots of exprience or something?
That is the most retarded thing I have ever read.
The Netherlands' population density is to be exact 254 times higher than Mongolia's. No matter how you cut it, I'd say that makes it pretty god damn crowded.
Nope, just self-taught tech savvy. Fucking around a lot with Windows / Linux / MacOS, using your head thinking outside the box. I started my first IT job last November so I'm basically brand new and I have no relevant formal education or certificates. I got lucky I guess? But I also had to prove myself.
Daneanon is right. We have a MASSIVE housing crisis and there's no end in sight. Everyone wants to live in NL and it needs to stop. Our neoliberal government has €€ signs in the eyes because expats are retarded and willing to pay 500% of what things normally cost
that image is fantasy and you will never actually view something like that with your own eyes. I doubt you'll find a place to live anywhere in the centrum also that isn't extremely expensive, even single rooms you share with psychotic bulgarians or whatever annoying foreigner. And if you do ever go to amsterdam please avoid the boring canal tours, shit smells like piss inside those boats and there's flies everywhere, especially in the warmer months.
>Everyone wants to live in NL
there has to be a reason for that
because its actually empty from good planning
