WHAT ABOUT DARK TOWER
I don't like that movie
MY DUDE
For me it's the original The Stand miniseries. That was legit event television they just can't make anymore thanks to streaming.
ALL OUR TIMES HAVE COME
I just can't care. It's not what I was hoping for or wanted from a Dark Tower adaptation.
Missing two very good films…Carrie and Secret Window
Should've just had all the main-characters run in and punch the Dark Tower.
yeah i know
never gonna get a decent adaptation ever
From OP's list, IT, The Mist and Salem's Lot are part of the Dark Tower Connected Universe
The MCU version of Kingverse would turn The Stand into Stand By Me 2. And Christine would become queen of the Maximum Overdrive cars.
dark tower should be an HBO series with viggo as roland. each book should have it's own season.
its what they should have done with It
For me, it's Dreamcatcher.
>be writer from Maine
>90% of your shit is about writers in Maine
What a fucking monkey
>King's self-claimed magnus opus
>8 novels with more than 4000 pages
>"Hey, a 90-min long movie will surely do justice to it!"
>black Roland for woke points (and I like Elba otherwise)
It was the definition of dead on arrival and I condemn every single soul who had anything to do with it.
I'd like to see more New York/Jersey/Philly type horror where everyone hates each other at first then grows to like each other during an awful situation. King's books and movies all involve mild mannered New Englanders who become worse people.
For me it's Christine
The Mist is his best short story by far.
Yet they are still kino.
i like the jaunt as an actual short story. Mist was a novella
