Whatever happened to Final Destination?

They reached their final destination

They arrived.

These movies pissed me off.

the first one would have been a cool x files episode

It ended in a satisfying way that wrapped up the series in a closed loop and they decided to leave it alone and that’s a good thing.

It concluded in a very satisfying way. No need to make more.

Although, you might say those shitty Escape Room movies are the spiritual successors to Final Destination.

That doesn't actually explain why they disappeared. Why hasn't there been a crappy revival for a cashgrab?

there were way more of them than there should have been?

trust me, i like them. but holy shit, stop after three would ya

The fourth one is easily the worst one.

It was really kino how that one ended up being the start of the first movie. They really did hide it well that the movie took place in the past.
Also... WHAT THE FUCK WAS HIS PROBLEM?

They weren't as profitable after the third one. 5th one was the swan song.

He's the FOOKIN CANDYMAN

he was the best part of the movies, the connecting membrane, when a movie struggles to find a plot - black man shows up and suggests they murder one another, and that totally try doing it until the end of the movie.

They don't want another FD4

4th one had a good scene

It reached it

My nigger. It's so good.

I consider this series to be hugely underrated. This really isn't even my type of movie, but they're so well done. Yes, they're B movies, but the mythology, the humor, the tone, the intricacy and inventiveness of the deaths, and the concept itself elevate them and are genuine achievements.

Another movie has apparently been in the works since 2019 and it'll be released on HBO Max when its done

>I consider this series to be hugely underrated.
It truly is a blessed franchise. Near perfect. Friday the 13th wishes it was nearly as good.
