The super higher horsepower stuff? Yeah. Everything is electronic or mechanically automated.
Slipping the clutch? Electronic, one-way adjustable valves, or special clutches with centrifugal weights in them. All you do is move your foot the the side and it "launches" for you.
People even put solenoids on the one thing you have to do with a powerglide, shift from 1-2. Now they just program an RPM and it does it for them.
