I hate sharing a flat with strangers.
I own nothing in the UK but i am not happy
do you eat ze bugs tho?
relatable
how do we fix our situations?
Have you contemplated acquiring employment?
>he thinks only people without jobs have to live in flatshares
It's the reality for any young person who earns £50k or less in London, and for anybody who earns £30k or less anywhere else
i eat prawns
in the US its exceedingly easy to fix your situation
in the UK it is basically impossible
yes I am in employment and i earn more than 90% of the UK's population.
kill yourself
>It's the reality for any young person who earns £50k or less in London
i mean its basically less than £70k
after £50k you can tecnhically afford your own place, but it makes no economic sense to do so because london studio flats are not really any better than flatsharing despite being triple the cost.
Move to Glasgow
Drink bucky
Eat the munchie box
Be happy
Yeah that's true, you're looking at £1200pcm for a very basic flat, so may as well just spend £750pcm on a decent flatshare if you have a couple of friends to go with
i have a brother who lived in glasgow for a while and loved it, but still eventually moved back. he said the weather made him want to kys every day
When I had a roommate I used to cum in his coffee creamer.
>earn more than 90%
then why do you live worse than 90%?
>in the UK it is basically impossible
get a girlfriend, i share a flat with my gf and it's much more affordable to have your own place that way.
>get a girlfriend
should have renew a happiness loicense tho.
>Move to Glasgow
>Be happy
You've never been to Glasgow, have you?
Not him, but it will be because he's younger and hasn't had the chance to accumulate wealth through property like all the boomers have.
You could be young and on £60k (putting you in the top 10%) and you can still only get a mortgage for £270k, so maybe afford a £300k house with an ok deposit. In most of the south east (where most decent jobs are) that's not enough to get even a shitty little house.
By contrast, you've got loads of boomers who have never earned more than £30k but who live in houses worth £600k+ because they bought in the 90s when they were way cheaper, and have just rode wave after wave after wave of rampant inflation
spot on
Unironically move to Scotland bro. I pay 650 per month for my flat here and I have a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room and shared garden.
Bought a 2 bed semi-detached for £160k in east midlands a few years ago. Now it's like £200k value and my monthly payments are £400/m 10 year fixed. I still fucking suffer
