OK so. The reason why refugees are largely 20-30 year old men (aka young men) is because the process of becoming a refugee is so fraught and dangerous. If UK (or EU) wants to see more families, more elderly people, more women, etc. they should airlift people OUT of wartorn areas. Instead the EU (and UK and USA) demands that refugees come to them. Meaning only the most fearless and risk-tolerant refugees (aka young men) even bother trying to make the journey.

What have you done to fix your country? To be honest unless you are some 60-70 year old singaporean or 50-60 year old korean no one has ever fixed their country, they were born into into it.
