What were people doing on trains and buses in 2010 when there were no smartphones?
staring out the window
or looking at other people
Playing 5kb games on my flipphone
read newspapers
newspapers, books, etc,.
Listened to music, read a book or a newspaper, in normal countries (not Japan) they might've dared to talk to someone else on the train, especially if it was someone they knew.
listening to music, reading book/newspaper/magazine, playing games on game boy, living in the moment
sex
that's why the birth rate is falling
please have sex
I was 17 years old, there was already a widespread usage of smartphones, had an iPod.
The year you may be looking for is 2007 and before, I used to read magazines about videogames, anime, scientific facts, and Jules Verne books, and I did have a GameBoy Advanced, I think I had a Nokia already and used to spend time in the snake game and another with an spaceship. My sister always had the habit of drawing, writing or reading while on the public transport. Collectibles were a really common entertainment too.
Many adults were reading newspapers or something else, sleeping is one of the best ways to pass time while on public transport.
And damn, if you were travelling you wanted there to be a TV with a movie or something.
Stare at girls cleavage and butt and hope they didn't notice
This.
appreciate nature
read books
puzzle books
newspapers
mp3 player
>Stare at girls cleavage and butt and hope they didn't notice
or you hope they did notice and liked it
Only the fatty ones liked it sadly
I would play emerald on my GBA SP but that was more 04-05
They used their Nintendo DS and PSPs
I'm still not using smartphones on trains and buses.
shitaly's birth rate has been lower than japan for 20 years lol even after mass immigration lol
I cut my nails, brush my teeth and shave on the train.
I'm old enough to remember it.
On a bus I just looked out of the window and be lost in my thoughts.
Occasionally I would stare a cutie.
On trains older people read newspaper, I listened to the ipod.
reading books and very rarely playing simplistic arcade games on my moms filpphone if she allowed it, later on the same but with an mp3 player
there were cellphones though. also if you constantly use your phone in public or around other people youre a subhuman
>2010
>no smartphones
Kek zoomers didn't even notice the shitpost. You'd have to go back to 2007 or earlier to find no people staring at a smartphone on buses.
And much farther back, I'll say before 1990, to find people with no portable electronics at all (Walkman, Game Boy)
