I've actually seen this. I didn't realize it was a sequel when I watched it, so I was kinda lost. The animation was gorgeous, arguably much better than any film I listed in my 3x3, but the story just didn't grab me. Maybe I should give it a rewatch after watching the first one

the first one is great, but it has absolutely atrocious animation (and I really mean atrocious, it's straight up unfinished at some bits) and a really bland story. it's covered only by its setting and atmosphere. you've been warned.
