Gay because Coruscant had a lot of potential for stories as it's basically extraordinarily corrupt, is a shitty place to live, rife with organized crime, and the lower levels of the capital are completely lawless.
If Disney wanted to make a dark and edgy story or series, Coruscant would be the place to do it. Better than Tatooine for Booba Fatt even. But that would require competent writers, good original characters and actual story planning which Disney is incapable of doing.
