LOTR movies also completely ditched an action scene involving Sauron in the end of Return of the King, something they'd shot filmed and edited, because they realized the implications to the story and the lore were too negative and even though people would've clapped from seeing Aragorn fight Sauron, they stuck to what was important for the story.
Not a single person involved in the LOTR you loved is involved in this, not a single person who wrote the world of LOTR put to ink a single aspect of this, none of the reasons you love LOTR had anything to do with making this show. This show is made up of new people with worse ideas and less care for the source material.

I know the Shadow of Mordor/War games utterly butchered the lore and Celebrimbor's character, but at least they kept a relatively accurate physical appearance. Why is the actor playing Celebrimbor blond? Why is he played by an actor 20 years older than Galadriel when he's younger than she is and much closer to Gil-galad's age?
