It definitely works as a self contained story but I'd watch a sequel.

Stallones Dredd had the greatly superior set and costume design and noone can convince me otherwise.
Dredd 2012 failed to capture the feel of megacity one, even if it had the more accurate characters.

THIS! Cod piece/spandex combo aside, this film nailed all the aesthetics better. The mask redesign also made sense since in reality you can't see all too well through the real helmet.

The problem is, sequals are usually worse than the first one, Dredd 2012 is the best comic superhero movie Imos

Its gritty full of action, some subtle joking but still serious and dark

What we really need is not another Dredd sequel but an entirely new one combining the elements of both movies. I wonder if that Mega City One show would've (will?) got anywhere close.
