because guns gave women an equalizer against more powerful men, nukes gave weaker nations an equalizer against stronger nations. so you can hard spec into science and still earn a military presence. they're a good thing like guns but any 1 bad incident of a nuke is going to far out weigh the times a nuke would have been good. also if a nation of people voted in a leader who gets a nuke dropped on his people, darwin would have called that natural selection

This is going to piss off all of the brown and yellow anons but nuclear weapons have prevented total world war for the last 70 years. They are definitely a good thing. It also keeps all the non nuclear countries from getting too uppity. It makes me happy that Israel is the only middle eastern country with nukes, just because it pisses off all the other Arabs.

For the exact same reason seaborn carriers are a good idea. Assuming a practical power source is designed an airborne carrier would have every advantage of a seaborn carrier.

seaborn carriers are a necessity because airstrips on islands cant cover the entire ocean, they have an entire fleet of support vessels and defense cruisers along with them because they are insanely vulnerable.
an airborne carrier would have all of these issues + even more engineering and supply problems because it would have to stay in the air indefinitely.
on sea, you would still use a normal carrier, on land you have your own airstrips, and over enemy territory you are just a giant floating target, nobody would use them even if they were viable. its the same reason zeppelins as aircraft carriers dont exist. its just a dumb and waste of resources
