Anyone else glad Disney saved Star Wars? Without them we never would have gotten epic clips like this

This is a joke right? This like a YouTube sketch you'd see in 2009.

Kenobi season 1 episode 3 (2022)

when people said they wanted to see more of Obi-Wan they were talking about the prequals Obi-Wan, not the original trilogy.
At this point it's clearly malice. There's no way you can be this incompetent about Starwars

more subversions and turning stoic legacy male characters into nobodies with no more morals. groomers mad cruise didn't let them kill him off and replace him with some wheelchair bound obesexer/xim/xit ace pilot

I hate how instead of staying still, the camera shakes like it's Breaking Bad or something. Just reeks of that "cheapness" feel. Does anyone else feel this way?

The camerawork is easily one of the worst aspects of this show.

20 million per episode so at least 15m of that is getting laundered

both goyslop whats the difference

Literally taken from tranny fanfiction idea.

Yeah, did they make the decision to have it like that? Wouldn't it be easier to have the camera still?

I noticed it’s always worst in night/evening exterior scenes. So the cam op is either shivering (w/shitty stabilization) or rushing so bad to get their shots in that they skipped track?
So distracting!

from what I've seen the editing is just as bad if not worse

Still shots takes setup, sandbagging, etc. You could say shaky cam is easier because don’t have nearly as as much setup. Too cheap to deal with sand in the equipment is my guess. When I think of the most iconic shots of the originals, it’s those wide, still shots of the desert. I can’t imagine those spots feeling cinematic at all if it looked like a handycam in the CA desert like Kenobi

That's unfair to Breaking Bad, which had consistently kino cinematography.
Unlike the sub-amateur dogshit that is every aspect of the Obi-Wan show.

I hadn’t noticed the editing at all, but I did get bored at intervals and sometimes that’s editing

No the shaky cam in breaking bad served a purpose, there's nothing inherently wrong with shaky cam. I think user is comparing it to breaking bad because Kenobi is trying to capture that "realistic" style by doing the shaky cam which makes no fucking sense for a Star Wars property.

It's been so long since Star Wars had soul. Watching this compared to Yidsney garbage is like night and day.

Looks like a YouTube fanfilm

>Watching this compared to Yidsney garbage is like night and day.
100% I don't even care about Star Wars but the quality film making is just transparent.

Why does this scene feel like something out of a sketch comedy?

WTF BROS IPHONES CAN PLAY WEBMS NOW!!
