Also they spent waaaaaay too long on interpersonal drama. Should've spent more energy on the cosmic horror aspect. That alone would've made it better. It's just typical Netflix wasted potential.

no, the first few episodes set an interesting premise and then by the end of the first season it gets irredeemably bad. like someone walking to touch the one thing they shouldnt touch, and ignoring 5 people yelling "NO DONT DO IT", and then they do it, and dont know why they did
then season 2 turns the netflix pozz into overdrive, like revealing a side character suddenly has a gay black boyfriend. i just immediately dropped it
