Is WW2 important in your culture?

Why is WW2 so important in Finnish culture? We were hardly even involved.

>Is WW2 important in your culture?
Not anymore, we got over it

What else does Finland have to brag about? The Winter War was pretty cool.

reminder that jews werent polish so this should be half or a third

I guess the list of Polish Nobel prize winners should be cut 90% then

you still lost though

That's how desperate Finns are to find any self-worth...

No

Yes, we were the final boss.

The benefits of being in the periphery

except there's like zero polish nobel prize winners that were jewish,

Somehow I doubt it

Did Poland win a prize? For what?

>the winter war was cool

>be finnishit
>moutstache guy asks you for small chunk of land near petersburg in exchange you would get some soviet territory
>finnshits denies
>soviets go to war with them
>lose 10% of your territory with second biggest city
>claim you won because of Simo Hayha

I guess for finns winning nobel prize is an abstract thing, but Poland was the only country from which the person got nobel prize from two scientific fields at once

>higher percenteage of swedes died in ww2 than spaniards
finland-san please notice us

Hurwicz, Rotblat, Charpak, Hoffman, Singer, Reichstein, Rabi, Michelson

Now you got a new war to obsess over

except these are not polish nobel prize winners and nobody knows about them, this is in fact first time I heard about them

you never know

Ofc its fucking important, almost every family has somebody who was in war or was helping working on the home front

Dude those are pretty much all the meaningful Polish winners. Muh Lech Walesas peace prize doesn't count.
Poles do have one or two actual Nobel prize winners, Curie and Schally. Schally is part German though.

Only because we put japs into camps here.
