In Brazil we usually say 6 da manhã and 6 da tarde, 9 da manhã and 9 da noite, so its basically AM/PM as well.

We do use the 24 hour-clock, but we also say "it's 3 o'clock" when we mean 15:00 for example, isn't this pretty much the norm though?
