Why did Japan develop such a large and diverse culture of comics and animation?
The answer is always HIGH IQ

shut the fuck up you unfunny kraut
Du bist doch auch ein Kraut
unironically because we DON'T speak english but we were rich
we needed something to enjoy that's not american entertainment
all other european countries had american entertainment and they were fine with it so they didn't need their own entertainment
>all other european countries had american entertainment
i think in europe we also developed somewhat of an comics industry (especially france and italy), probably because of the same reason like japan
most europeans couldn't speak english and had to watch american stuff with subs/dubs they only ended up speaking english due to multiple generations of american cultural domination
but bro didn't you make most of the american stuff via outsourcing apart from the scripts of course? AT LEAST showwise im pretty sure disney dominated film
i think because of Japanese language,
this language make Japanese more rich expressionable character and make high IQ average people.
I'm watching rent a girlfriend
I love Japan
>just takes chinese characters and simplifies it
>WE WUZ SUPERIOR YAMATO LANGUAGE AND SHIIEET
In the post war era Japan diversified their industry to soften their image and ones like animation and toy makers were especially encouraged.
unashamed of pandering to teenagers got their animation industry thriving financially, shit like dragon ball could never be made in france, we are too snob and bad at business
wtf I love that picture now
crazy its a pretty old picture
