The problem is that Seoul would be glassed in less than 15 minutes. It would be impossible to nuke NK without suffering extreme losses on the SK side, not to mention the literal and political fallout that comes as a consequence of destroying NK. Do you really think South Korea is equipped to handle all those refugees? What do you think China would do if we detonated a nuke so close to their border?
The reality is that we can’t brute force the situation.
