We used to have our own version of this stuff before critical race theory went international. Some of it dates back to the 80s. However the German version was usually quickly subverted by the far right and used to mock liberals.

When it comes to race, yes. When it comes to gendering nouns and pronous we got our own version based on German language that predates the Social Justice movement. However it picked up speed with it becoming more popular in the USA. Most public servants have to use some sort of twisted gender speech no normal person can understand.
