Good for you. Don't be ashamed of yourself for this. I've met lots of different people in lots of different countries now and mix regularily in circles at both ends of the societal ladder. My conclusion is living a happy life is nothing you should be ashamed of, and if a broken system is making people's life worse but you managed to benefit by sucking a bit out of that system, then more power to you.
