Working class europeans have 30-50% of their wages removed in the form of taxes
with VAT being another tax when buying things another 20%, so 50%-70% tax rate.
We have to pay for bank accounts and receive negative interest rates.
Basically if our societies operated like the US we would have more money than you.
Instead we have functional Healthcare systems, perfect roads, 0 litter on the streets, top tier education systems, 1 month paid holidays, years long paid maternity leaves. Korea doesn't even have a public pension system.

Most American tax-payer money gets sunk into an inefficient healthcare system. If the U.S had a healthcare finance system thay wasn't bogged it could easily match European social spending while keeping its current tax rate.
