Humans are cool

fighting dragons is obviously more exciting than excel spreadsheets

i like literal walking simulators and i cannot for the life of me understand why people play MMOs

>fighting monsters
>washing your bathroom shower
Which do you think is more fun?

Video games reward your hard work better than real life does. Working actually produces quantifiable results.

Play a game for 60 hours and max out your strength vs. Going to the gym every day irl and still barely being able to bench 200 pounds.

This, video games are expected to reward you, real life doesn't always. I would also add that there are no long term consequences for death or failure in a video game.

Fighting dragons if they existed irl would be alot less fun than in a video game.

If there is a soundtrack in real life I woild be much more enthusiastic in mundane life

There is, it's called earbuds

Bump

Increase dopamine

Only if you're a pussy.

>crossing road
>sad soundtrack starts playing

I play online card games such as Hearthstone

i played online for the community, i made friends and i found my wife online
the tedious tasks as you call it was an activity i enjoyed so time flew fast, i did not enjoy my job

i wasnt a shut in or an autist, i just didnt like the turbonormies and i wanted to mingle with ppl who liked games like me

i changed my job so i enjoy that now too, life is goodvyv
