What are some films with this type of energy?
Nosferatu
>Bridge to Terabithia
Seen it. Not really feeling it. Maybe I'll try again with something more visually representative.

I was recommending Julien Donkey-Boy to you. Let me go think again.
something comfy but also with a sense of adventure/journey. The closest film that got it right was Stardust for me.
zapata western done right

What the fuuuuuuck? That looks really interesting actually. Is this like some proto-Squid Game shit?
Haxan
>Is this like some proto-Squid Game shit?
Yes kind of. It's based on the Japanese film "Battle Royale". I think that the creators of "Squid Game" probably did the same with this one. It's a good film, very tense, and it's all in black and white.
I want a movie where the world irrevocably changes at the end

Why are americans obsessed with this idea of phrenology and belief, and then also so sensitive about racism and the applications of phrenology there?
You'd never say it to my face, lol. No one ever has.
Race is real but not what's most important. Why do you worship genetics above all?
>phrenology
nobody brought that up
It's the LEAST popular Wes Anderson film because he takes everything seriously, it's not very "cute" and it has deep visual metaphors. I especially liked the metaphor of the characters "losing their baggage", which is represented metaphorically and literally. Some characters miss the train they're supposed to catch because of their baggage. I like the way he blends that.

This is not a great movie but it's visually lovely and has a good adventure feeling to it.
Westerns are all the same.
