I have no idea why this was on during seemingly every commercial break between the cartoons I watched as a kid, but it evokes a feeling of nostalgia in me like nothing else
As someone that just had their AC break on a string of days in the mid 90s F, I can understand that women's point.
AC is the greatest invention of mankind.
I used to watch a VHS on repeat of The Pirates of Penzance filmed off the TV from the 80s, and it had a commercial at the beginning showing that a vacuum cleaner was so powerful it could suck up nuts and bolts. I was transfixed by that and think about it often.

It was the kind of game where a friend had it and you begged him to take it out to try it, and he was reluctant but eventually gave in. Then it was missing 40% of the pieces, including the most important ones, and you sort of played briefly before putting it away and going to play Street Fighter or something instead.
