>I was talking with a friend of mine
>Said a woman had hurt his pride
>Told him that she loved him so
>Turned around let him go

>Listen honey, can you see?
>Baby, you would bury me
>If you were in the public eye
>Givin' someone else a try

Why don't the /trek/ servers advertise?

Whoops, sorry for the transporter accident, ma'am. Just hold still while I beam up the rest of your shirt

>it's necessary, your Vulcan physiology is different from ours
>your body needs to.. well breathe more

Why doesn't /trek/ in general advertise? With enough manpower we can become a board.

The ol' buffer trick, eh? Not bad, Miles.

Would that actually work?

no

I actually love this because this Vulcan criminal arc isn't even on the C plot of the episode but it colors the Vulcans as a culture in such a good, star trek loving way. Like earth it's unreasonable to assume that such a philosophically and socially complex people as Vulcans would be so strongly monoculture, so they made a cultural outlier with his own classification. Unfortunately we only got this kind of anti-monoculture treatment out of a significant trek species with DS9 with the Ferengi. (While at the same time almost strictly adhering to the monoculture approach with the Bajorans and the Cardassians). But, none of those aliens have ever have been as interesting and compelling as Vulcans.

I love how they're meeting in a seedpod on a starbase where they have "outdoor" 3d chess tables in which numerous other Vulcan bystanders are participating. Even the big mainstream blockbuster movies today fail to wrap a small scene in actual, you know, significant scenery.

tyvm for reading my blog

O'Brien, determine what caused the transporter malfunction and see if you can re-create the accident with this woman.

stay in your containment thread, spam

this reminds me how sailors in real life are a very superstitious bunch and will often hide army men in engineering spaces to fend off gremlins.
Could make for an interesting trek episode if they attach some worthy sci-fi twists to it

just necrobump it and samefag all day

Don't fall for it, laddie.

Sure but it's a surefire way to lose your commission. You could even load things into the buffer, too. Like if you wanted her to transport in with lingerie on. Would make for a nice holodeck program.

I know Picard was a steaming pile of hot pig vomit, but the last scene with Picard and Q was really well done.

she's such a slut? She's crazy to get out of there and to do less talking so they can have "fun" and dumps him mid conversation as soon as it doesn't go that way?
She doesn't have to get serious if she wants to be an eternal spacefaring bachelorette then that's fine but it's her fault for getting into these actual relationships in the first place then. And she shouldn't be so aggrieved that normal humans form natural commitments and loyalties after spending bonding time with others.
