sopranos and mad men both have tremendous rewatch value. breaking bad is 5 seasons of stringing the viewer along whodunit that loses it's appeal the minute it ended

they each have their peaks and valleys, breaking bad is probably the weakest. i personally like mad men the best. soipranos fans will ruin this thread btw.

Sopranos is my favorite show of all tume but even I have to admit that Mad Men is objectively better written and all around higher quality show. Only seen Breaking Bad once and wasn’t impressed.

this. i've only watched mad men once, but i've rewatched both breaking bad and the sopranos and there is zero reason to watch breaking bad again unless you just forget what happened. sopranos did have rewatch value, and i'm sure mad men will too when i watch it again eventually.

also extremely boring until the final season. Who's decision was it to have a cold war drama take place during the time when very little happens. Also that female child actor is unbearable to watch like most child actors.

The Sopranos is a post-modern masterpiece that set the bar so high that no television show has been able to top it for over 20 years. Mad Men came close to it though.
