Based on auteur theory, they bring an artistic quality to their movies that are honest and not trying to be anything more but action and spectacle. They know how to tell fun stories about man's struggle while art films fuck around with muh big think philosophy. It's fucking boring. Film is a visual medium, one that requires attention to detail not found in art film. You get static shots. Wow. How deep.
