On August 5, 2021...

>On August 5, 2021, Comedy Central announced that Parker and Stone had signed a $900 million deal for extending the series to 30 seasons through 2027 and 14 feature-length films, exclusive to Paramount+.[3] It was eventually confirmed that they would be rolled out as two films per year.[4]

>The Streaming Wars was announced with its release date and synopsis on May 11, 2022.[1]
so they are films now not episodes?

HBO max signed a deal so that they get all new South Park episodes on their platform the day after the premiere on Comedy Central.
So Paramount ordered 14 South Park """movies""" for Paramount Plus.
So now there's 6 episodes per season followed by 2 movies.
Basically a sneaky way for the series to be split between HBOmax and Paramount Plus.

Who gives a shit
If you still watch South Park you're a loser

jesus

idk that adult special is legit one of the best episodes ive seen in decades.

why the fuck would people already worth 100s of millions want more

>waaaaa im old and bitter and dont enjoy innocent humor and you should be a dumb Any Forumstard like me too!!!

Holy fuck they got 1 fucking billion. And people say the dollar isn't absurdly inflated.

Why do Americans use “legit“ instead of typing out the full word? Are they really that lazy?

Southpark to Comedy central is like Spongebob to nickelodeon. They NEED southpark to keep them afloat as a company.

South Park is literally R*ddit's favourite show. Cope manchild.

Niggerspeak.

Holy seethe

So what? Do you base your entire life on reddit?

That seems like alot of south park. How long before they commit suicide?

this lol

>2022
>being tranny
do americans really?

Well, maybe they do it to ensure that all the people working at South Park Studios keep their jobs.

How did south park managed not to turn into zombie Simpsons?

>get a billion dollars to film whatever is in your head every week
Trey you son of a bitch

Trey and Matt completely fucked over Paramount with their deal. If you pay almost a billion dollars for a franchise that hasn't been relevant in more than a decade, at least make sure that they produce full seasons of more than 20 episodes and not this "6 episodes in March and maybe 6 more episodes in September if we feel like it" bullshit. Also, make sure that the feature length specials are actually feature length. A 48 minutes special that doesn't even have enough content for a 20 minute episode, so you have that one character from an episode from 15 years ago say "pee pee" a lot is a rip-off.

are you an LA lawyer user?

It's already there
Simpsons has just been zombie mode forever so SP doesn't look as bad by comparison
