She looked fucking amazing in it. Good God.

>The part where she walks into her house after spending time with him and she pauses to remember how he makes her feel

Yep.

I thought it was a good reference

This, she's 51 and looks well over a decade younger. Even with makeup that's impressive, Cruise was definitely showing his 60+ years in a couple of scenes I felt.

Will she go full-frontal in the sequel?

She has broken the wall. What the fuck?

Kino Easter egg, I miss Bowie bros

This might be one of the worst on screen romances I've ever seen. They get reacquainted, start dating, bang, live happily ever after. In the original Top Gun Mav and Charlie had work tension, sexual tension, you learned stuff about them through their relationship. It added to the story. This plot in Maverick should have been left out and the movie should have ended with Rooster and Mav fixing planes together.

It's going to make it that much more depressing when she finally runs into it. Diane Lane held it off for the longest time too but it finally got to her

They only brought her in because she's the admiral's daughter who got him in trouble in the first one. Pure nostalgia play with no meaning to the plot and I'm not sure how many people actually remember her character who never even appeared.

Still a hell of a run at the top on both counts

>They only brought her in because she's the admiral's daughter who got him in trouble in the first one
Who cares. This fact adds nothing to it. I didn't love the romance plot in Top Gun 1 but it's fucking Romeo and Juliet compared to the boring shit in TGM.

who was she? I don't remember at all.
>redundant character
they don't want to make Tom look like an incel. which he probably is in real life.

Goose talks about some admiral's daughter Maverick fugged waiting for Principal Strickland to call them slackers after the opening scene.

It gets to all of us user, why would resisting it for longer make it more depressing? You think it's better when actresses hit it in their 30s like Emma Watson, Emilia Clarke, or get boged in their 20s like with Millie Brown and Chloe Moretz?
