it isn't necessarily permanent, but you need to figure out how to solve it.
yoga or physical therapy might fix it, nerve regeneration is slow, as in months or years. so stick with it long term.
swimming might help too.
fix your chair so you aren't compressing your nerves as they run under your buttocks, and make sure your mattress is neither too soft nor too firm, and your sleeping position is optimal.
try doing pull ups every day too, buy a pull up bar. it let's the spine fully relaxed and stretch out so the discs are not under compression.

Do you tuck your pelvis in as far it goes when you plank? You don't want to be holding your back "flat" you want tighten your abs as much as possible while pressing your heels backwards. Aim for posterior pelvic tilt. Maybe that'll help.
