>According to many Chinese on social media, Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan and subsequent lack of action by the PLA has triggered another “100 years of Humiliation” also known as the “Century of Humiliation” >For context: The "century of humiliation", also known as the "hundred years of national humiliation" (in Mandarin 百年国耻 Bǎinián Guóchǐ), is a term used in China to describe the period of intervention and subjugation of the Qing dynasty and the Republic of China by Western powers and Japan from 1839 to 1949
I still remember when China and chinese people got extremely butthurt at Sweden because some chinese tourist got thrown out of his hotel because he tried to sleep in the lobby all night
1. The CCP know they're gonna fall off a cliff in 2 more weeks (years) so 2. they turned to nationalism with big words and threats to look strong and maintain power and support 3. which makes dumb dumbs believe they are big stronk and no one will mess with them and they expect the government to act strong 4. but the CCP knows they if they start bombing or seriously blockading Taiwan or even antagonising the west further, the biggest loser is China, so they can't actually take any action

That's not even all. They got at the hotel a day early and demanded a room when they were booked. They then chimped out and wanted to sleep in the lobby, after which they were removed by police and chimped out in the street instead like they were being murdered screaming "This is killing". They were promptly taken to the station "skogskyrkogården" (translates to forest cemetry), which is almost in the city center where the Chinese tourists and Chinese media claimed that: > they were driven to a desolate graveyard and thrown out of the car in the cold, forest like environment with animals howling all around them.
