This is part of it, but raunchy teen comedies were already dead long before TikTok showed up.
It's still partially correct though since "the internet" is one of the biggest reasons, just hitting a few keys and seeing half naked HS chicks is easy and doesn't require a movie ticket or red box rental.
Why would a horny young man or his dad and uncles pay for this anymore? They won't, at least that's what Hollywood bets on.
The streaming wars might actually bring it back though, nobody is missing Euphoria's relevance. Alexandra DD's got her break in True Blood but I bet that was stilla higher streaming draw than on tv and while her career isn't much, she still built it solely on her tits.
