No, it doesn't. I actually kinda like the show, but it's pretty consistent to me.

Yeah, that appears to be the case. Only the first episode had any kind of interesting mystery to it. The rest so far has been nothing but listening to Steven whine and be a pussy.

1 is the best episode, but 2 and 5 are good too because they’re the only episodes that make use of the psychological elements. Everything else is boring indiana jones capeshit.

Not unless you have a hippo or alligator fetish. If you know or like the comics the last episode was to me the most satisfying but it's one of those last 5 minutes of the last episode I finally got the thing I wanted.

The acting is the best thing in Marvel in years. Isaacs shows why he is an award winning actor. Overall story is kind of meh though. Effects aren't horrible, but it has a serious "power rangers for adults." Series also ends kind of badly on a large "stay tune for next season" bullshit, OVerall, a solid 8/10. Not great, but maybe the best Disney+ show form Marvel.
