Him doing shady stuff was never the problem. His shady actions never hurt anyone that much and were often to help people. What he did to Howard since the beginning of this season after Howard again and again offered Jimmy jobs and olives branches is what makes me hate his character now. Him having sex with Kim while he listens to Howard suffer like it turned him on was repulsive.
