What else did Mao destroy?

Your asshole XD

Clearly you have never read the poetic genius of Zhang Zongchang

Because China has a more diverse poetry culture, the place is a nation of poets. Traditional Chinese poems are also songs and I don't think you can make the song out of just 3 lines.

Lol Mao Zedong himself was a classical poet. Poetry is so imbedded in Chinese culture even the Cultural Revolution paradoxically made classical-style poems about new China.

On a branch
floating downriver
a cricket, singing.

Even with insects—
some can sing,
some can’t.

China has 4x4 poems
So it's fine

I really don’t get how people don’t understand the purpose of poetry, how are you so dense
