If your nation's top sport is soccer

You have no sports culture.

>Archery
Based, after the developed world descends into chaos the mongol empire will rise from the ashes

All sports are made up, retard.

Kinda surprising. Although I guess they did give us Yao Ming

>China
>Basketball
Why do they like American black sports?

Do you think soccer pre-dates humans? German could be a bandy powerhouse if you had the guts.

Bhutan too ;)

Gaelic football feels like bizarro afl.
I wish international rules was a Commonwealth sport.

Feels like that's bullshit for ice hockey, except us and Finland.

>have no arguments, proceed to argue semantics

Because they want to larp as if they werent midgets

>China preparing culturally for bbc

Basketball is a Canadian white sport sooooorry bud

Football certainly predates most of the modern states.
Unlike poor mans rugby.

Imagine trying to steal the name of football and still bitching about football.
N-words are truly american spirit bearers.

Actually baseball and soccer were created at around the same time. Before the mid-1800s both soccer and baseball had widely varying and unformalized rules.

I know you're talking about US football by poor man's rugby but I'm using baseball as an example.

My question is: why would you not want to have sports made by your own people?

I'll never understand why they call it football if they mostly play with their hands.

It was named "football" because it was developed from soccer/rugby type games that only bare minimal resemblance to what it is now. The name just stuck.

I disagree with SK. Football is more popular than Baseball there. What's the source of this map?

>why would you not want to have sports made by your own people?
It's a descendant of an English game, adapted and first played in Canada and spread to New York in a 'baseball craze.'

N-word please. Incas played football 2000 years ago. You would call every rulebook edition a new game?

it is named football because yanks wanted to larp as if they have popular and worldwide renown sport, while all they have is rugby version with sissy protectors

Didn’t steal the name, finessed it. Besides what’s wrong with calling soccer soccer?

and Russians like to LARP like they have a powerful military but get mugged down in eastern ukraine.

>Football is more popular than Baseball there.

That's not true the name was attached to "proto-football" games back when you used your feet more than your hands. And it stuck as the ball shape changed making it more of a pass and throw game

What is Gaellic football?

There are LITTERALLY no non-anglo invented sports

In the Basque country there is a sport that simply consists of lifting a lot of weight.
