Yes, but it is dying. Many churches are half the size they were just ten years ago.

are Mormons really so numerous?

What about average temperature?
Palm trees per square capita?
Fruit agriculture?

utah only has like 3 million people

Too hot right now unfortunately

When was it ever?

so its not like atheist europe?

when the spanish had it

People are still religious but actual church attendance is plummeting. It's still a powerful force in politics but less important in everyday life than it once was.

>border with mexico is catholic
retvrn...

Yeah like how the Spanish had fucking Texas

and look how catholic it is... and the french in louisiana

From the 16th century till air conditioning made livable for protestant snow birds and jews.

It's actually less muttified in religion than every state around it except of Utah and Colorado.

we still have a large religious population. it's just that it's declining.
yee. texas has always been pretty catholic due to spanish influence. people often segregated themselves to different regions of the country based on their religion; especially for catholics. early americans were very hostile to catholics

It still has too much influence, but in high school I only knew maybe 1 or 2 people who actually went to church regularly

>blue and green
real America
>red
immigrants and brown immigrants
simple as

is it still influential in mexico? we're basically the same country now

Irish, Italians, German Catholics, Poles, Czechs, Portuguese, Spaniards, and more have all been important parts of the USA's greater culture for decades now.

This.

What is the northeast without its Irish, Italians, and Portuguese, and the midwest without its German Catholics, Poles, and Czechs, and the southwest without its Spaniards.
