What was the point of Angela's character? She won't get a redemption arc because she was written to be one-dimensional. Eleven going over the edge and clobbering her with a skate was just brushed aside and forgotten about. Was she just a plot device to establish that El can't use her powers? And she can't use her powers because otherwise the plot would end too soon?

Mister Fibley is actually the BBEG of the entire show. His motivation stems back to when El unknowingly killed his brother, Doctor Fibley, back at the start of S2 while trying to survive in the forest alone. Mister Fibley never forgot or forgave the act, though, he does understand the reason she did it. For him, it is simply a matter of honor. His brother must be avenged. If you pay close attention you can see him in the background of almost every important scene since S2E3. The reckoning will be brutal.
