>The second world war was a lot like a lawn mower. Now if you don't know what a lawn mower is, it's this machine that has a bunch of sharp blades spinning underneath it to rapidly cut grass and make it short and tidy.
>And world war two was like a lawn mower, only this lawn mower wasn't cutting grass... it was cutting humans.
>Now you may begin to get an idea what the war was really like for the people who lived through it.

Who is this nigger?

>i'ts like a BOXER
>a little guy who has to dance around and win by points
>or a HEAVYWEIGHT, who can knock you out in one punch, but tires quickly

I’m sick of mongol redd*tors. Leftist praise the mongol empire Because it’s the single one badass world conquering empire that happens to be not white.

The mongols were cool and all but they were total monsters and true barbarians, killed millions of civlillians and destroyed massive cities killing and raping everyone inside for minor shit like not surrendering quick enough.

Mongols are the demons leftist and jews accuse white people of being.

Ctesiphon had it fucking coming

You would have to be retarded to praise them, most people just find them interesting because they were.

>show about Mongols
>goes on a 40 minute rant about how much worse the holocaust allegedly was

Was it really necessary?

>According to his emissary’s reports, the city was still surrounded by mountains of human bones and lakes of human fat. He also reported that 60,000 young women had thrown themselves from the city walls rather than fall into the hands of the invaders.

My ancestors :)

It's as always correction, over correction and counter correction.
Not too long ago, the Mongols were depicted like a plague or a natural disaster, just something bad that happened to China and Arabia and parts of Europe.
Then the correction: You don't just get a horde with so much success out of nothing, steppe nomads have been there forever. The Mongols built something impressive and sophisticated and did not just win by numbers.
Over correction: They were wonderful warriors, perfected by the hard steppe life, their violence was brilliant and necessary, they brought peace to their lands and had religious freedoms.
Counter correction: They were still fucking vile barbarians though and slaughtered insane numbers of people.

>Wants to talk about Cleopatra
>Starts with the Gracchi

He literally started Wrath of the Khans with a discussion of how truly horrific the Mongolians were and how he had to grapple with his admiration of them as strategists and warriors with their unrelenting brutality.

Right - he relates how he submitted a paper in college on the Mongols and his (ethnic Han) professor flipped out because he (Dan) soft-pedaled the relentless genocide aspect.
And he fully admits to being a "fanboy" of history, not a historian.
That being said, I haven't listened to his stuff in years.

But that's precisely what makes his podcast worthwhile. Anyone can give you a glorified Wikipedia readout.

>You would have to be retarded to praise them
On what grounds do they not deserve to be praised? They were the greatest warriors of their era at the very least

>>And world war two was like a lawn mower, only this lawn mower wasn't cutting grass... it was cutting humans.
