I've seen a lot of high quality TV recently, but nothing to match this. I came in blind, simply thinking to watch Taylor-Joy in a period drama and was absolutely blown away.
The cinematography is quite exceptional; the colors are sublime. So many frames are quite simply works of art.
I've gotten used to TV being able to tell a really good story, but this is something else.
This is a really good story in an art house setting.
I just stared at it, transfixed, mesmerized by the artistry of it and astonished that it is offered up on a TV budget.
And yes - the camera adores Taylor-Joy, and so do we.
>The cinematography is quite exceptional; the colors are sublime. >So many frames are quite simply works of art. Most modern BBC productions have the exact same look and style. It's a good neat look with popping colours and cleanly shot scenes but hardly unique.
jesus christ they really perfected cleavage techniques back in the day

While I don't agree with you chuds, there is something beautiful about the comraderie in these threads when you let eachother know it's unwatchable because of a black or gay. It's always a quick: here's the issue responded with: thanks for the heads up.
