I can't see Netflix ever committing to a weekly release schedule at this point. They've had so many opportunities to do so where it would have made sense, and chose not to every time. They're married to the binge watch model.
The only reason they didn't release this season all at once is because post wasn't done yet and the Emmy deadline was coming, so they pushed what they had out the door.
