There isn't really that much to see desu. Just some rock carvings and restored mudhuts. And the american obsession with vikings is kinda cringe. Besides we're more proud of our 1600s history when we were actually a relevant great power and not just uncivilized barbarians raiding and looting our more civilized neighbors.

Really though, it feels like such a sore missed opportunity. Especially since Sweden's population growth has increased this past decade due to immigration, I think a renewed focus on tourism would help attract more foreign investment and diversify the economy a bit. There's always been a ton of interest from the Anglosphere towards Viking raiders and the Danes certainly don't have any problems in taking advantage of it
