They let women make decisions

This. Fuck women. Even my wife, Mom, sister, and Grandma. Fuck'em

Rian Johnson wanted to kill every plot line from Episode 7. He did it so well he killed the whole franchise as well.

Jar Jar Abrams and the Kennedy destroyed literally every thing they could destroy.

Star Wars has a hard time living up to ANH and ESB because they're just that good. Everything else in the franchise has been average to mediocre.

They seriously didn't have a plan for some trillion dollar franchise. It's almost beyond imagining. When I was a kid everyone was afraid of bland corporate art by committee but no one foresaw simple elite laziness and stupidity.

they take something thats really cool like obiwan kenobi to nostalgiabait you into watching some low effort sjw garbage

>What the fuck happened?
disney + feminazi = SWINO

why in fuck would they do this?

>What the fuck happened?
Women and jews.

women ruin everything they touch

They don't really have skin in the game. There's no way to truly hold them responsible for draining hundreds of billions of dollars worth of value from the IP.
It's like the managers of a mine flooding the deep levels to extract one cart of precious metal, they get paid by the cart and if they can get one cart now at the cost of the mine that's better than one next year but another one every following year for a hundred years.

Its what normally happens when an institution doesn't have any kind of foresight over nepotism. If people can suck cock for clout and brown nose their way up the pyramid and get their hands on actual power (Not just getting to be neurotic status quo enforcers in the HR department), the entire system drives off a cliff.

In a market where Alvin And The Chipmunks and the Transformers film were box office smash hits on par with Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films, it was determined that the actual quality of the end product wasn't important enough to have quality control any more. Using effort was a waste of effort.

oh gosh, maybe those "toxic masculinity racist fans" that were saying it looked bad and were saying it looked bad throughout the astroturfed "hype" were actually onto somehting

What the fuck where is the time going AAAAAAAAAAAAA

>Everything else in the franchise has been average to mediocre.
If only this were true.
MCU movies (through phase three/endgame) are pretty average, some are a little better than others, but you're typically going to get a competently written generic story from a Hollywood template where you have lots of action and expensive actors delivering cringe dialog with conviction and the rule of cool trumps story flaws more often than not.

Disney Star Wars movies are total shit in comparison. People try to say these are generic corporate movies but they're not, they're much worse than that.

Hubris and incompetence from the people in charge at Lucasfilm.

Yeah and unfortunately the box office results for TFA confirmed the error. TFA pulled in a billion dollars so they thought their strategy was fine. They didn't realize immediately how badly they'd fucked up and that (a) the Star Wars audience is NOT the same as the Transformers audience and (b) trying to be Transformers is a bad strategy anyway since Michael Bay will always do a Michael Bay movie better than JJ Abrams will.

So Star Wars movies are now totally dead and they're reduced to peddling TV shows on Disney+.
