Bump
why did they fly f-18s when they know they'd be going up 5th gen fighters?
up against*
Because the real life US Navy isn't going to let a film crew borrow their brand new planes that 1) are different from export versions and have a ton of top secret tech in them, 2) have a tendency to crash and kill people
It had some in-movie explanation but it was so stupid i forgot the reason instantly after i left the theatre. But to be short both the f-35 and f22 lacked something they needed for the mission
the valley was a GPS deadzone so they had to use old planes. or something
Is this movie actually good? Kind of blows my mind how many rave reviews there are and how much money it's making.
F-22 and F-35 are both single seat, so you can't put Cruise in the back seat.
Because there is no 2 seat f-35 for filming.
yeah its fucking brilliant desu, i was really surprised myself

Ace Combat general?
I don't care if the plot is garbage, I will watch it because it has cool shots of fighter planes
>tfw have time off this week so I can go catch an afternoon IMAX screening during the weekday in a theater that’s just me + 20 seniors
Peak comfy kino experience desu
Fantastic action with no woke shit, it’s great and rare in the modern age
Based, movie is basically an Ace Combat movie.
youtu.be
I feel like my extreme autism would prevent me from enjoying this film
Worth driving out to the kinoplex? I rarely do, but maybe for cool jets and loud noises if it's that good
Nigger it's worth paying for Imax or whatever upgraded kinoplex you have in your region
yes, go
i went to one of those cinemas with moving rumble chairs and mist spray etc shit was CASH
there is a 2-seat variant that was revealed recently
