we have the Malbork castle which is probably the largest castle in the world but it was built by Teutonic Order
the most important polish stronghold was the one in Kamieniec Podolski, it had literally perfect location on a river and Ottomans couldn't take it for 300 years

It's a giant fucking castle. It goes below the sides but they don't want damage the sides anymore to rebuilt it. The entire structure is probably 4 by 4 city blocks. Those windows are big enough to get small cars through. European castles tend to be much smaller than it.
