why has the "strongest" military in the world with the most advance weapons and tech on the planet lose so many wars they started?

Had no long term objectives that were realistic. Putting up puppet governments is more harmful than good

They just need to flip to fascism, then they get access to the good puppet governments and not just gay "supervised states".

Iraq and Libya were victories THOUGH

i hate americans

Those are political failures, not military defeats.

It's one thing to blow up a bunch of stuff, it's another thing to teach literal savages how to be civilized. Our leaders thought by invading Afghanistan and Iraq they could replicate the success in making Japan a capitalist democracy, but that only worked because the Japanese were already civilized and intelligent people, just in need of better political and economic systems. Modern Russia is a lot like Imperial Japan - smart, civilized people as a whole, but held back by a shitty power structure.

On the other hand, teaching Afghans democracy is like trying to run Windows on a toaster. The hardware is incompatible, no matter how much money you spend on it.

> they are civilized when they submit to us
> theyre savages when they show resistance

Yeah ok

user, Afghans live in mud huts

There is one American dude (sometimes I actually think it's a girl) that gets really sad when you make such threads schizo bro

>Viet Nam
First proper encounter with jungle warfare, environment strange and hostile. Previously learned strategies and tactics from WWII and Korea useless in the thick bush. Natives angry and uncooperative and battle hardened from the war against the French. Arrogant to a fault. Yeah, not surprised it didn't pan out.

>Afghanistan
Successfully held the country for 20 years, Taliban during this time was unable to do anything. Bin Laden was found and killed. Hardly the American's fault that the Afghans can't do anything right on their own.

>Somalia
Same as Viet Nam, went in completely underestimating the enemy.

>Iraq
Saddam Hussein was captured and executed, his sons killed and his regime fell apart in days. The only real fuck up was letting ISIS fill the power vacuum that Saddam's death left behind.

>Libya
>Syria
They fought actual wars here? When was this?

so this is why burgers spam anti-Brasil posts outta nowhere lol

americans are like here
all talk no walk
when somebody fights back they run back with their tail between their leg

>Those are political failures, not military defeats.
pretty much this, unironically have never lost a war and could wipe the floor with any army, they're sending hand me downs to Ukraine and it's BFTOing Russia and look how that's going

It hasn't been all that much about "winning" for a while now.
Most of it were politics and financial interests.

And America didn't "win" WW2 as much as they didn't lose it.
The Soviet Union sacrificed most people.
Europe was in ruins.
America used the chance to plunder and push through military and political deals that had benefitted America -- or rather its ruling elite -- ever since.

Americans have been conditioned to be very proud of this quasi-foundational myth and you will see even many "red-pilled" people become pretty upset when doubt is cast on the established narrative.
But "America" was much more the winner in all of this than most "Americans".
Pax americana not only brought the country wealth but also burdened generations of America's sons with being world police for the elite.

When we talk about "winners" and "losers" we need to take a sober look at who have turned out to be winners and losers.

Would you have thought of yourself as a "winner" if your number had been drawn?
