US flag is the main symbol of the english language

>US flag is the main symbol of the english language
>BR flag is the main symbol of portuguese language

Which former spanish colony should have their flag used as the main symbol of the spanish language? Or should that be settled through battle royale?

Mexico is by far the most populous Hispanic country.

The best place to live for a Spanish speaker is Miami.

lmao at least our mutts speak portuguese

Spain of course

The US.

Argentina

The portuguese language is merely a dialect of spanish, it is not a true individual language. You speak spanish in Brazil and are indeed latinx

They aren't ready for this conversation yet, João.

>implying the US flag is the main symbol of the english language
Every faggot web designer puts the Union Jack next to the English language option, but it should be Old Glory considering we have the most English speakers of any country. Mexico should represent Spanish since it has the most Spanish speakers.

I am converdational in spanish, could I speak to portugese people? I can read portugese but people say the accent is very different

Don't india and china have more english speakers than you?

no you would need to be near native for that
even a south american span speaker would struggle with the porty accents

portunhol is the common ground or gallego

>expecting yank to not be an uninformed nationalist idiot

There's no way China has more English speakers than the US; it's basically only young people there who speak English, and even then most of them aren't competent speakers. India does have better English skills since it's an official language and a lingua franca there, but I don't know if there are more (fluent) speakers of English in India than in the US.

Literally my name
Portuguese people can understand most spanish but it's hard the other way around because our pronunciation is less approachable, if written their understanding becomes closer to ours. Only through studying the differences and exposing yourself to the language can this be bridged

India's set to be the most populous country you mong. China is #1 atm.

The United States has over double the amount of English speakers than India does, dumbasses. Nigeria has more than India.

Mexico
