why aren't they accepting new members into the caste system? Like what if I wanted to move to India and start my own Jati, why can't I do that? Is this discrimination?
Why aren't they accepting new members into the caste system...
You're free to try doing so
The expanded intergalactic caste database aims to categorically list the caste of all humanoid life forms in the galaxy - expanding upon the work of the indian caste system and the caste system of the planet of the apes.
The intergalactic caste system is a system of social stratification that divides sentient beings into a hierarchy of castes. The system is based on the belief that one's caste is determined by their birth, and that one's caste cannot be changed.
The system is divided into four main castes: the Brahmins, the Kshatriyas, the Vaishyas, and the Shudras. Each caste has a specific set of duties and responsibilities, and each member of a caste is expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of their caste.
The Brahmins are the highest caste, and are responsible for the spiritual and religious life of the galaxy. The Kshatriyas are the caste of warriors and protectors, and are responsible for the defense of the galaxy. The Vaishyas are the caste of merchants and traders, and are responsible for the economic life of the galaxy. The Shudras are the lowest caste, and are responsible for the manual labor and servitude.
The intergalactic caste system is a controversial topic, and there is much debate over its merits and flaws. Some believe that the system is necessary in order to maintain order
is there any chance it would work?
woah
You would get deported if someone snitches to the police because castism is illegal.
>Inb4 it's still practiced
It's like racism in the West, it might be secretly or even openly practiced but it's still illegal.
holy shit you retarded zoomie being from a caste isnt illegal
Yes they are racist people. I posted a similar thread the other day and an Indian replied to me saying that non-indians are considered Mlecchas and can not join a caste even if they convert to Hinduism.
I don't understand how they look down on outsiders when they are literally Indians, lol.
Stfu mlecchoid
That's not what I meant retard. Forming a new caste and adding people to it is practicing castism.
I mean its the truth what can we do about it. Its like asking Japanese people what samurai clan you would belong to if you moved there
is it true that caste was not strictly hierarchical and only inherited in the past?
Because otherwise how did new castes form in the past? I'm wondering if there was time when they did add new castes, as long as they conformed to vedic standards
also
>converting to hinduism
is a meme dont fall for hare krishna
> is it true that caste was not strictly hierarchical and only inherited in the past?
Kind of confusing wording. I meant
> in the past, caste was neither strictly hierarchical nor completely inherited.*
what do you mean not heirarchical? caste is inherently heirarchical but there have been fights about position in hierarchy. New castes were formed either when people moved to a new place or adopted a new profession for example gunsmithing. There isnt a book where you add castes to, members of a caste identified as something and them they would have to gain recognition in the eyes of society about it
> what do you mean not heirarchical? caste is inherently heirarchical but there have been fights about position in hierarchy.
Yes, I mean that the hierarchy can change and different groups can change positions within it. Or that the hierarchy positions are different depending on the region or city.
Kshatriyas and Brahmins fought over the top spot but otherwise it is fixed. What did happen is you fought about what varna your caste was from. Like Jats just came in and said they were Kshatriyas like you want to do but they were foreigners so they werent exactly accepted as Kshatriyas at large. But they were revolting against Brahmans ability to define that and decided to roll with it
My ancestors are farily recent converts to Hinduism(about a few hundred years ago) and they choose to become kshatriyas kek. No I won't elaborate further.
are you
no
Interesting. So did Jats also do military stuff to try and boost their credibility as Kshatriyas?
Also are there no communities where the lower two varnas are dominant or powerful?
lol
If a white person moved to india what caste would they be in
If you are bmack why are you obsessed with us white people.
none. Already learned this answer from other replies, foreigners don't have a caste.
