What? Merseryside didn't even exist when most Anglos went to America
is probably right. swedish lose.
... This is very unlikely but in my 2minutes of searching I can't find much on which regions anglo americans came from in England
>The first wave of growing English immigration began in the late 1820s and was sustained by unrest in the United Kingdom until it peaked in 1842 and declined slightly for nearly a decade. Most of these were small farmers and tenant farmers from depressed areas in rural counties in southern and western England and urban laborers who fled from the depressions and from the social and industrial changes of the late 1820s-1840s.
Aren't London or even Bristol bigger?
That's 19th century immigration. I'm pretty sure most Anglo-Americans are descended from British colonists.
Washington’s English family was from way up in the North of England, yeah?
There's literally been a book written about this. Read Albion's Sneed
I know, but I can't think of any reason why the original colonists would disproportionately be from fucking Liverpool
Most Anglo Americans originated from West country ,Ireland and Norf/Lowlands when Lowlands were part of the Norf back then
cool
Albion'sneed chuckfiesty needemgetty sneedly poh shiesty
Maybe today but Liverpool was the largest port in the world during the British Empire
Actually southernern Americans escend partly from Yorkshire and Northumbria and also partly from Royalists in London and the southeast of England.
They weren't, mutts only think they are because records said they left from the pot at liverpool
uhh idk actually. maybe at the time most english americans arrived. but i think itd be hard to find good information on to be honest for a couple of reasons since theres some distinctions to make. regardless its 'a' big port and what OP is probably talking about is a lot of americans having arrived from liverpool, not that they were necessarily liverpudlians
That's like assuming that all British tourists come from Heathrow. It was simply the biggest port, they weren't going to go across the atlantic in fucking paddle boats.
What would happen if a colonist settler from New York had to name a city?
>they weren't going to go across the atlantic in fucking paddle boats.
My great great great great gandpa did.
